Carson Beck shines in preseason debut for Cardinals against Panthers

Summary

Carson Beck impressed in his NFL debut during the Hall of Fame Game, completing 15 of 19 passes for 188 yards and a touchdown against the Carolina Panthers. After a tumultuous offseason regarding the starting quarterback position, Beck's performance has sparked interest in his potential role for the Arizona Cardinals. While incumbent Jacoby Brissett is expected to start the season due to his experience and contract, Beck's show of skill may lead to a late-season evaluation. This comes as head coach Mike LaFleur seeks to build for the future against strong NFC West competition.
