Casemiro shines but Brazil's defense falters against Japan in World Cup
Summary

Casemiro scored an equalizing goal for Brazil in their World Cup knockout match against Japan on June 30. He completed 89% of his passes and was awarded player of the match despite Brazil's defensive vulnerabilities, highlighted when Japan scored the opening goal. The performance raises questions about Casemiro's future at Manchester United, as the club prepares for a new era without him. It is likely this will benefit United in adopting a more fluid playing style next season with new midfield additions.
