Casey Mize joins trade discussion alongside Tarik Skubal for Tigers
Summary

The Detroit Tigers are considering trade options for Casey Mize and Tarik Skubal as both pitchers' contracts expire at season's end. Mize, a former No. 1 overall pick, has shown strong performance despite injuries, currently holding a career-high strikeout rate. While the Tigers prefer to retain their talent to enhance contention, Mize's health and contract status may make him a trade candidate if the team opts to sell. Analysts suggest he could be a valuable acquisition for other teams during the upcoming trade deadline.
