Catcher Yannic Walther advances within the Milwaukee Brewers farm system

Yannic Walther is progressing through the Milwaukee Brewers minor league organization as he seeks to reach Major League Baseball. Born in Heidelberg, Germany, the 22-year-old was signed as an international free agent in August 2022 after scouts observed his performance in the German Baseball League and with the national team. Walther began his professional development in the Dominican Summer League before moving stateside. Following a promotion to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on June 30, he has maintained a.264 batting average through 28 games.
