CBF president Samir Xaud visits Morenão Stadium during facility revitalization project

CBF president Samir Xaud visited the Pedro Pedrossian Stadium in Campo Grande on Wednesday to oversee facility improvements. The CBF is contributing approximately R$ 1 million toward the revitalization of the stadium, which includes upgrades to the pitch, irrigation, and drainage systems. During the visit, FFMS president Estevâo Petrallás noted that the investment represents the first significant official engagement by a CBF leader at the venue in nearly two decades. The project aims to restore the stadium, which has previously hosted national team matches, for future use. Representatives from the CBF also visited the local State Football Development Center to prepare for its upcoming inauguration. This site marks the first such development unit in the Central-West region and the eighth facility opened by the CBF in the last year.
