CBS Sports has flagged Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. as a candidate for a potential bust in 2026. With Tua Tagovailoa joining the team, Penix's future is uncertain, particularly under a new leadership group that is not invested in his success. While Penix has impressive talent, he has struggled to adjust to the NFL, holding a 4-8 record as a starter with a completion rate of 59.6%. Currently, he is limited to 7-on-7 drills at minicamp as he has not yet been cleared for full-contact practices.
