CBS Sports renews its English-language coverage deal for Liga MX

CBS Sports has renewed its sublicense agreement with TelevisaUnivision to broadcast Liga MX matches in English for the 2026-27 season. The network committed to airing at least 40 regular-season games along with additional playoff coverage. Matches will be available on CBS Sports Network and the free CBS Sports Golazo Network. Coverage features a familiar team of announcers including Adrián García-Márquez, Nico Cantor, and Chris Wittyngham. The broadcast slate focuses primarily on home clubs held by TelevisaUnivision, such as Club América, Cruz Azul, Pumas, and Monterrey. The new schedule begins Sunday, September 6, with Cruz Azul hosting Santos Laguna at 10 p.m. ET.
