Celtic monitors Luke Chambers for potential January transfer move

Celtic is tracking Liverpool defender Luke Chambers ahead of the January transfer window. The 22-year-old remains under contract at Liverpool but has moved down the club's defensive depth chart following the arrival of Ronald Araújo and the presence of Kostas Tsimikas. Chambers, a former England youth international, spent previous seasons on loan at Kilmarnock, Wigan Athletic, and Charlton Athletic to gain senior experience. Although Celtic recently acquired Landon Emenalo on loan from Chelsea, the club views Chambers as a long-term successor to Kieran Tierney at left-back. Potential deal structures include a permanent transfer for a fee or a pre-agreement for a summer move, though loaning the player for the remainder of his current contract remains a point of consideration for Liverpool.
