Celtic pursues Atalanta defender Mitchel Bakker amid squad concerns

Celtic is reportedly interested in Atalanta defender Mitchel Bakker, according to multiple Italian sources. The left-back, who can also play wing-back, has been linked to the club again after prior attempts to sign him. He is nearing the end of his current contract, which could make him an appealing target. Celtic’s pressing need for squad improvements has been emphasized by management, especially after last year's disappointing campaign. Ongoing discussions suggest the club is actively searching for reinforcements to compete effectively this season.
