Celtic sign six players following European registration deadline

Celtic completed six signings within a 24-hour window ending Wednesday night before the UEFA registration deadline for the Europa League. The club brought in midfielders Joel van den Berg and Oliver Sorensen, striker Shim Mheuka, defender Jordan Lotomba, and defenders Sam Johnstone and Landon Emenalo. These acquisitions follow the departure of Reo Hatate to Burnley and Johnny Kenny to Preston on Tuesday. Manager Martin O'Neill stated he is satisfied with the new arrivals, noting that they are necessary after the squad saw several exits earlier this summer.
