Celtic targets Liverpool defender Luke Chambers and Blackburn playmaker Ryoya Morishita

Celtic is preparing a pursuit for two players when the transfer window reopens in January. The club is reportedly interested in Liverpool left back Luke Chambers, who is expected to be available for a loan move as he nears the end of his contract. Simultaneously, Celtic plans to revisit a deal for Blackburn Rovers playmaker Ryoya Morishita. The Scottish side attempted to sign the Japanese international during the recent summer window, but the move was unsuccessful due to the late timing of the approach. Manager Martin O’Neill aims to bolster the left back position, where the team currently relies on Kieran Tierney and loan player Landon Emenalo. The addition of Morishita is viewed as a way to increase attacking creativity, as the midfielder can also operate on the wing.
