Celtics consider Derrick White trade amid Giannis Antetokounmpo pursuit
Summary

The Boston Celtics are reportedly exploring trade options for Derrick White, especially if they fail to acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Minnesota Timberwolves have expressed interest in White, potentially trading him for Naz Reid and a first-round pick. Despite averaging a career-high in scoring last season, White’s overall performance and shooting percentages have declined significantly. Reid, at 26, offers a promising alternative as a starting center and a more effective shooter. If the anticipated Giannis deal does not materialize, the Celtics may prioritize securing Reid to enhance their roster.
