Celtics expected to draft Zuby Ejiofer after missing Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Boston Celtics are projected to select Zuby Ejiofer from St. John's in the upcoming NBA Draft, following an unsuccessful attempt to acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo. After their first-round elimination in the playoffs, the Celtics aim to enhance their frontcourt. Brad Stevens emphasized the need for improvement at the rim and better scoring options. Ejiofer, a 6-foot-8, 245-pound presence, garnered recognition as the Big East Player of the Year and averaged 16.3 points and 7.3 rebounds last season. His selection could address the Celtics' needs for energy and defensive activity.
