Celtics trade Jaylen Brown to 76ers for Paul George and draft picks

Summary

The Boston Celtics traded Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers for Paul George along with two first-round and two second-round draft picks. Kendrick Perkins criticized the deal, calling it one of the dumbest trades in NBA history, citing Brown's tenure and recent MVP candidacy. George's limited availability over recent seasons was also a concern, prompting further backlash from fans and analysts. As the Celtics move forward, they have re-signed Ron Harper Jr., and added Mike Conley and Mitchell Robinson, although clarity on the trade rationale remains absent from the front office.
