Center Grove defeats Bloomington South in volleyball semi-state match

In a Class 4A volleyball semi-state match on October 31, Center Grove defeated Bloomington South with scores of 25-8, 25-17, 25-21. Despite a slow start in the first set, Bloomington South rallied in the third set, taking an early lead. However, a strong finish from Center Grove sealed their victory. Bloomington South's season ends at 29-3, marking their first elite eight appearance in 49 years, buoyed by a successful senior class that set a new standard for the program.
