Cesc Fabregas emerges as option to replace Michael Carrick at Man United

Michael Carrick is under pressure as Manchester United struggles near the bottom half of the Premier League table with one win in five matches. Sources indicate that Cesc Fabregas, currently managing Como in Serie A, is considered a serious contender to replace Carrick, especially following Como's strong performance, finishing fourth last season. Fabregas's team will face United in the Champions League on October 21, a match that could solidify his reputation and the scrutiny on Carrick's position will intensify if results do not improve. United has important games ahead, including a matchup against Tottenham Hotspur on October 8.
