Cesc Fabregas prioritizes Serie A as Como prepares for upcoming Genoa match

Como manager Cesc Fabregas confirmed that Serie A remains the club's primary focus, despite the team reaching the Champions League and the Coppa Italia semi-final. Speaking ahead of the match at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Genoa, Fabregas emphasized that squad management is currently dictated by domestic league demands rather than the impending Champions League opener against RB Leipzig. Como enters the fixture following a recent 2-1 victory over Napoli. Fabregas praised Genoa coach Daniele De Rossi for his aggressive tactical approach and high-pressing style, noting that the two share a background as former midfielders. The Lariani squad features recent additions Moise Kean and Robert Sanchez, both of whom are available on the bench for this contest. The match is scheduled to kick off at 19.45 UK time.
