Chad Tracy provides update on Roman Anthony's injury status

Boston Red Sox outfielder Roman Anthony remains sidelined with a hand and wrist injury, according to interim manager Chad Tracy. Anthony has not played since May 4 and is missing his 43rd consecutive game. Tracy reported that Anthony has not shown substantial progress and is only able to swing a lighter bat. Anthony was placed on the injured list on May 7 and initially faced a right wrist sprain but suffered a setback when he felt discomfort while hitting off a tee. Tracy noted that the situation is not the fault of Anthony.
