Champ Anthony serves as captain during Auburn win over Baylor

Auburn safety Champ Anthony served as a team captain during Saturday's 17-16 win over Baylor. Head coach Alex Golesh selected Anthony for the leadership role after the defensive back returned to full health following injury struggles over the previous two seasons. Anthony contributed four tackles to the defensive effort, which limited Baylor to 16 points despite the Bears totaling 436 yards of offense. The Auburn defense, led by coordinator D.J. Durkin, held firm throughout the contest to secure the narrow victory. Anthony credited the team's preparation and defensive philosophy for the performance.
