Chance Berry narrows college recruiting list to eight programs

Chance Berry, a four-star guard at DME Academy, announced her eight finalists for college recruitment on September 2. The 5-foot-11 prospect is currently ranked as the 50th-best player in the Class of 2027 by ESPN. Her list of schools features Arizona, Arizona State, North Carolina State, Penn State, Syracuse, Texas Tech, West Virginia, and UCF. Previously a standout at Royal Crown Academy School in Toronto, Berry has competed internationally for Team Canada in the FIBA U16 Americas Championship and the FIBA U17 World Cup. She also earned a championship title with the All Knighters in the Overtime Select league in 2025. Berry, who enrolled at the Daytona Beach academy last month, intends to finalize her decision before the early signing period begins on November 11.
