Chandler National All-Stars fall to Hawaii in regional opener

The Chandler National Little League All-Stars lost their first game of the Western regional tournament to Hawaii, 7-3, on August 9. Chandler held a 3-2 lead going into the sixth inning but allowed six runs in the top of the sixth, unable to recover. Hawaii capitalized with four walks and two doubles to secure the win. Chandler's relief pitchers struggled, allowing five runs over less than two innings. The All-Stars now face elimination against Northern California on August 10.
