Chaos not dressing a faceoff man after Inacio injury for doubleheader

The Chaos will not dress a faceoff specialist for their upcoming doubleheader in Columbus after Justin Inacio sustained a right knee sprain during a match against the Boston Cannons. General manager Spencer Ford decided to rely on a rotation of midfielders for faceoffs against the California Redwoods and the Philadelphia Waterdogs. Ahead of their game on Friday night, Ford emphasized that while they considered other options, they prefer to use players already familiar with the team's system. By not adding a new faceoff man, Carolina has been able to include a fourth short-stick defensive midfielder on its roster, allowing Greg Langermeier to make his season debut. The Chaos play the Redwoods at 6 p.m. ET and the Waterdogs at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday, both on ESPN+.
