Chargers select Ole Miss DT Will Echoles in 2027 mock draft

In a recent mock draft, the Los Angeles Chargers are projected to select Ole Miss defensive tackle Will Echoles with the 14th overall pick in 2027. Analyst Mike Renner highlighted Echoles as a much-needed dynamic presence on the Chargers' defensive line, complementing their current roster. So far this season, Echoles has recorded three tackles for loss and a half sack, showcasing his potential as a disruptive force on defense. Analysts suggest the Chargers may focus on defensive players despite a need for offensive upgrades. Selection projections indicate that the Chargers may perform well in the current season, with estimates of six to eight wins.
