Chargers sign edge rusher Caleb Murphy and release rookie Nadame Tucker

The Los Angeles Chargers signed edge rusher Caleb Murphy to the team practice squad on September 3, 2026. The roster move involved releasing rookie pass rusher Nadame Tucker to create space on the practice roster. Murphy previously spent time with the franchise, joining the organization in October 2024 and contributing on special teams and defense during the 2025 preseason.
