Chargers sign Greg Desrosiers Jr. and Nikko Reed to practice squad

The Los Angeles Chargers signed running back Greg Desrosiers Jr. and cornerback Nikko Reed to the practice squad on Sunday. Both players were released during the team's initial 53-man roster cuts. Desrosiers earned an opportunity with the organization after a productive preseason finale against the Rams, where he recorded 118 rushing yards and one touchdown on nine carries. His longest run of the night spanned 34 yards. Reed, who went undrafted in 2025, previously made the roster last season and recorded two tackles over five appearances.
