The Los Angeles Chargers have made a roster move ahead of their Week 2 preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers. They signed wide receiver Liam Clifford and waived Luke Grimm with an injury designation. Clifford previously spent part of training camp with the Indianapolis Colts and is noted for his blocking ability. Grimm had been with the Chargers since April 2025 and was unable to secure a permanent roster spot. The Chargers will play the 49ers on August 20.
