Charleroi sign defender Triston Rowe on loan from Aston Villa

Charleroi completed the loan signing of Aston Villa defender Triston Rowe on September 1, 2026. The 19-year-old right-back moves to the Belgian club for the remainder of the season with an included purchase option. Rowe, an England youth international, spent the previous campaign on loan at French side Annecy, where he made 31 appearances, scored one goal, and registered two assists. He has not yet made a senior appearance for Aston Villa. Charleroi currently occupies first place in the Belgian Pro League standings after opening the season with four consecutive victories. The addition provides defensive cover for the Zebras as they look to maintain their form, particularly following the injury absence of Antoine Bernier.
