Charlie Woods returns to Junior Players Championship with sponsor exemption

Charlie Woods will participate in the Junior Players Championship, scheduled for September 4-6 at TPC Sawgrass, after receiving a sponsor exemption. Woods, the son of Tiger Woods, tied for 31st in last year's event and is currently ranked 306th on the AJGA Rolex rankings. He made headlines last year with a hole-in-one during the tournament. The current AJGA No. 1, Miles Russell, will miss this year's championship due to participation in the Walker Cup.
