PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA - AUGUST 7: Charlotte Flair makes her entrance during SmackDown at Xfinity Mobile Arena on August 7, 2026 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (Photo by Rich Wade/WWE via Getty Images) | WWE via Getty Images Charlotte Flair is used to being at the top of the card in the women’s division, chasing singles championships and being considered a headliner for any PLE she works in WWE. Lately, though, she’s been working in the tag team division alongside Alexa Bliss. The mismatched pair has actually been quite compelling in their time together. During a chat with Busted Open, Flair agreed with the point that she should be seen as a top singles star but she’s got a bigger purpose working in tags right now: “Do I agree that I should be a main attraction? Yes. Do I… do I think that I should be looked at and marketed like that champion that you’re thinking? Yes. But I think being in this tag, whether it’s slow or not for some of my fans, I think there is a bigger picture and that I’m going to keep working towards. Keep fighting for that.” That bigger picture likely includes introducing new stars to the main roster, like Tatum Paxley on Friday Night SmackDown just this past week. Beyond that, she would go on to say she believes working in the tag division is only garnering more interest in her return to chasing titles as a singles star. Care to argue with her point there?
