Charlotte Hornets considering Nic Claxton for frontcourt trade

Summary

The Charlotte Hornets are exploring trade options for frontcourt improvements and are reportedly interested in Brooklyn Nets center Nic Claxton. Claxton, who averaged 12.6 points and 9.2 rebounds last season, could provide the Hornets with a cost-effective alternative to Domantas Sabonis, whom they discussed in trade talks with the Sacramento Kings. Claxton's contract is considerably less than Sabonis', potentially making him an attractive target. The Hornets have not yet made a trade this offseason but continue to evaluate their roster needs.
