Chase Briscoe wins NASCAR Cup at Las Vegas after near miss in Kansas

Chase Briscoe secured victory at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday, responding to a tough loss the previous week in Kansas. Briscoe held off late challenges from Kyle Larson and Tyler Reddick to clinch his win, which he deemed crucial for his mindset after narrowly missing out the week before. He admitted to feeling desperate in Kansas after leading briefly before losing the position to Larson late in the race. With this win, Briscoe advanced three spots in the Chase standings, now sitting 84 points off the lead. The next race in the series will take place at Charlotte next week, with Briscoe and his competitors aiming for further progression toward the championship.
