Chase Daniel explains absence from the Missouri Ring of Honor

Former Missouri quarterback Chase Daniel addressed his exclusion from the school's Ring of Honor during a recent media appearance. During his collegiate career from 2005 to 2008, Daniel achieved significant success, including 101 touchdowns and a Heisman finalist appearance in 2007. However, he finished behind Florida quarterback Tim Tebow in both the Heisman and All-American voting, effectively disqualifying him under current guidelines. Despite his prolific tenure and role in elevating the Missouri program under coach Gary Pinkel, Daniel remains ineligible for the honor. The Tigers are scheduled to open their new season this Thursday against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
