Chase Dollander placed on Rockies' 60-day injured list with elbow strain

Colorado Rockies pitcher Chase Dollander has been transferred to the 60-day injured list due to a right elbow strain. This transfer comes as Dollander was already on the 15-day injured list since May 15. Rockies manager Warren Schaeffer mentioned that Dollander will have a pre-op appointment soon, with surgery on his UCL appearing likely. Dollander, who was drafted by the Rockies in the first round of the 2023 MLB Draft, had previously achieved outstanding recognition at Tennessee, including the SEC Pitcher of the Year award in 2022.
