Chase Engelhard contributed significantly with four RBIs, including his first home run for the Sioux Falls Canaries, in an 8-3 victory over the Chicago Dogs on July 10 at Impact Field. After the Dogs took an early lead following errors by the Canaries, Sioux Falls surged ahead with two homers in the fifth inning. The Canaries expanded their lead in the eighth with four more runs, ultimately sealing their third consecutive series win. Starting pitcher Thomas Dorminy earned the win by allowing one earned run over 5 2/3 innings. Sioux Falls will head to Kansas City for a four-game series, starting with a doubleheader on the evening of July 11.
