Chase McCauley, Noah Dever lead at ZDGA Junior Amateur after first round

Chase McCauley and Noah Dever are leading their respective flights at the Zanesville District Golf Association Junior Amateur. McCauley shot a 1-under-par 69 to lead the high school field, while Dever topped the men's collegiate flight with a score of 72. The event is taking place at EagleSticks and Cambridge Country Club. Other notable competitors include Clark Frischen and Jackson Geisler, who are two strokes back from McCauley, and C.J. Dolan, who trails Dever by one stroke. The competition continues with the second round set to begin at 9 a.m. on July 27.
