Chatham earns No. 1 seed in Morris County field hockey tournament

Chatham field hockey received the No. 1 seed in the 2026 Morris County Tournament following a coaches' meeting on October 8. Two-time defending champion Madison, returning finalist West Morris, and Morristown also obtained first-round byes. The first round is scheduled to be played by October 14, with the second round set for October 17. Quarterfinals will take place on October 21, and semifinals are planned for October 24 at Boonton, leading up to the final on October 27.
