Chelsea agrees to sign Marco Palestra for €55m plus bonuses
Summary

Chelsea has reached an agreement with Atalanta to sign Marco Palestra for €55 million plus bonuses. The move comes after Chelsea outbid Inter Milan, offering more than double Inter's wage proposal of €2.5 million per season. Previously, Palestra was poised to join Inter after a strong loan at Cagliari, but Chelsea's decisive action and increased salary offer changed the course of his transfer. This agreement adds another player to Chelsea's roster as they prepare for the upcoming season.
