Chelsea approaches €70m sale of Nicolas Jackson to Aston Villa

Chelsea is nearing a €70 million transfer deal to sell forward Nicolas Jackson to Aston Villa. The proposed agreement includes around €60 million base and €10 million in potential bonuses, following extensive negotiations. This development helps Chelsea as they look to reduce their squad ahead of the window's closure, with more player departures expected. Jackson’s move comes despite earlier considerations for his role under coach Xabi Alonso, who may have been influenced by the player's desire for a transfer. Another player, Liam Delap, is also nearing a departure, with Nottingham Forest reportedly closing in on a deal.
