Chelsea consider new contract for winger Estevao amid transfer rumors

Chelsea are evaluating a potential contract extension for Estevao to address speculation regarding his limited first-team playing time. The Brazilian winger has seen action primarily in the League Cup so far this season, fueling reports of potential dissatisfaction and a desire for a move. Fabrizio Romano indicates that both the player and the club remain calm despite the limited minutes and that the current squad situation is not viewed as a cause for concern. Discussions regarding a formal contract extension are currently considered an internal club idea rather than an immediate negotiation. If meetings with the player's agents occur in the coming months, the organization may look to finalize an agreement in 2027 to demonstrate their long-term commitment to his development.
