Chelsea expresses interest in Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton

Summary

Chelsea is reportedly keen on Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton as they look to strengthen their squad this summer. The 22-year-old impressed last season, notching one goal and seven assists in 53 matches. Wharton, known for his tough tackling and versatility, is seen as an asset for Chelsea's midfield under manager Xabi Alonso. His current contract runs until the summer of 2029, which may complicate a potential transfer. The club aims to finalize a deal as the transfer window closes.
