Chelsea interested in Liverpool playmaker Florian Wirtz for January transfer

Summary

Chelsea is monitoring Florian Wirtz, a playmaker at Liverpool, for a potential signing. A report indicates the Blues see him as a valuable addition under manager Xabi Alonso, who knows Wirtz from their time at Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Despite Wirtz's current struggles with productivity at Liverpool, his talent as a dribbler and playmaker remains evident. His contract at Liverpool extends until the summer of 2030, likely complicating any transfer negotiations. Chelsea may explore options in January or at the end of the season regarding Wirtz's potential move.
