Chelsea learns under Xabi Alonso during extensive pre-season tour

Summary

Chelsea's pre-season campaign, featuring new manager Xabi Alonso, involved a comprehensive travel schedule covering 24,561 miles across four countries over 56 hours. The team focused on bonding, fitness, and tactical training at various sessions in Sydney and Malaysia. While they secured a 6-4 victory over Western Sydney Wanderers, they faced a 2-1 loss against Tottenham. Alonso's approach blends hands-on training with key tactical lessons as he integrates younger players into the squad. The team looks to implement these strategies ahead of the upcoming season.
