Chelsea striker Liam Delap has been made available for transfer after just 14 months with the club. The 23-year-old, who joined Chelsea from Ipswich Town following a triggered £30m release clause, has struggled to find form, netting only once in the league last season. Despite potential interest from clubs like Nottingham Forest and Leeds, Delap's £50m asking price is proving a barrier. Chelsea aims to reduce its squad size, having around 40 players and needing to narrow it down to a typical 25-man roster for the season without European competitions. Delap is looking for regular first-team football, whether through a loan or permanent transfer, amid uncertainty regarding his future.
