Chelsea places Mamadou Sarr on transfer market after eight-month stint
Summary

Chelsea has reportedly placed defender Mamadou Sarr on the transfer market months after signing him. Sarr joined the club from Strasbourg for £12 million in June and was loaned back before joining Chelsea permanently in January. The coaching staff hoped he could bolster their defense, but he did not meet expectations. New manager Xabi Alonso is now looking to streamline the squad as Chelsea prepares for the upcoming season.
