Chelsea pursues Ligue 1 midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi amid competition

Chelsea is reportedly targeting Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi as part of their transfer strategy. The 18-year-old Moroccan international has shown promise at Lille, making 42 appearances last season and providing one assist. Chelsea faces competition from Arsenal and Manchester City for Bouaddi's signature, who is under contract until the summer of 2029. His performances have highlighted his potential as a central midfielder, but his transition to the Premier League remains uncertain if Chelsea secures the signing. The club aims to enhance its midfield depth by acquiring Bouaddi before the end of this transfer window.
