Chennai Super Kings call players for fitness tests amidst trade rumors

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have summoned their full squad for a fitness assessment camp as they prepare for upcoming roster decisions ahead of the IPL trade auction. The camp, lasting two to three days, comes in response to a disappointing season for CSK, which finished below expectations with only six wins. Speculation surrounds Hardik Pandya's possible trade to CSK, with discussions about potential swap deals involving players like Shivam Dube, Ayush Mhatre, and Dewald Brevis. While CSK's management has publicly denied initiating trade talks, the fitness assessment is seen as a crucial step before final decisions on player retention and releases are made.
