Cheryl Reeve steps away from WNBA season for Hall of Fame induction

Cheryl Reeve is taking a break from her WNBA coaching duties to attend her induction into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in Knoxville this weekend. Reeve becomes only the second WNBA coach inducted, joining Van Chancellor. The induction ceremony will also feature WNBA stars Candace Parker and Elena Delle Donne, who are being honored in the same class. Reeve has led the Minnesota Lynx since 2010, achieving four WNBA championships and coaching the U.S. women's Olympic team to gold in 2024. The Lynx are scheduled to play the Dallas Wings on Sunday, where Reeve is aiming to tie the record for most wins in WNBA history.
