Despite public concerns regarding a foot injury Odunze suffered last year, Johnson described the receiver as healthy and consistent during training. Odunze recorded 44 receptions for 661 yards and six touchdowns during the 2025 season. Johnson highlighted Odunze’s physical play, including his blocking ability, as a significant asset for the team's upcoming campaign. Additionally, the head coach noted a change in quarterback Caleb Williams, observing that the player is more composed and serious entering this year. The team is currently viewed as a contender for the Super Bowl.
