Chicago Bears open regular season following a period of roster changes

Summary

The Chicago Bears prepare for their regular season opener against the Carolina Panthers on September 13. The team enters the new season with shifts in both the roster and coaching staff. Head coach Ben Johnson returns for his second year leading the scheme, which now includes Press Taylor as the new offensive coordinator. Significant questions remain regarding the team's defensive composition after the loss of safety Coby Bryant to a knee injury and the recent trade of a key defensive lineman. The franchise also reports that every member of the most recent draft class secured a spot on the 53-man roster. Fans are currently evaluating the total impact of these offseason moves as the league prepares for Week 1 kickoffs.
