Chicago Bulls sign Norman Powell to two-year, $44 million contract

Powell, who was an All-Star last year with the Miami Heat, was brought in to provide veteran presence for the Bulls' young roster. Bulls executive Bryson Graham highlighted Powell's ability to mentor players, sharing his experiences from the G League to becoming an All-Star. The Bulls also re-signed Zach Collins and traded for Nic Claxton, aiming to strengthen their squad ahead of the training camp starting September 29. Powell's first appearance for the Bulls is set for October 7 in a preseason game against the Phoenix Suns.
